Mississippi River

I forgot to mention in my earlier blog that Lindsay and Murr enjoyed the view while crossing the Mississippi River over that HUGE bridge in Baton Rouge while I had a death grip on the steering wheel. It certainly made that "little" bridge that I went around this morning look like a fire ant mound! Nanny, she kept asking me if it was making me "nervoius" and I wanted to say "hell yes", but managed w/ a "yes, Lindsay."

Does that bridge have 4 lanes, (2 on each side), of a train track running down the middle? Fred assured me the one I had been on was several miles east of it, down closer to New Orleans, and closer to the coast. He said they were still working on IH10 at the time. If it was, I am glad he was mixed up, (or was lying to me), because I would have worried myself sick with how your rv was driving. Glad you were able to get it fixed! Annie

I have no idea how many lanes it had. At least 3 or 4 going each direction it seemed. I was so focused on not looking anywhere but right in front of me!
