Baltimore, Maryland

We've checked into our hotel in Baltimore and it's about noon here. Lindsay and Murr are already headed down to the pool.

When we turned in the POS RV the Cruise America people there agreed that it was a POS and couldn't believe they rented it to us in San Antonio in that condition. When I told them all the problems we had with it and that we spent about 5 hours on repairs, they offered to give us back a day, which was $90 off the tab. We went over our miles by about 300 miles or $96 worth and they agreed to forego that extra also. And we ended up getting our $300 deposit back. We saw the ones they were renting out there and they were in much better condition than the one we got. The guy there said they were going to be calling headquarters and reporting the San Antonio office. All of that appeased Murr and he's no longer talking about going back and beating that guy up in San Antonio who rented it to us in the first place like he has been talking about for the last 7 or so days.

Thank you all for coming along with us on our journey. It's been a great trip and I hope you enjoyed it. I've enjoyed this blogging thing so much that I'm going to follow in Rana's footsteps (scary thought) and continue on with it even once we get back home, so check back in from time to time -- you never know what you might miss if you don't!

So glad you had such good luck when you turned the RV in! Kind'a helps now that all of the bad stuff is over. But the best thing is that you will look back later and remember your adventure, and it will be funny. It also kept it interesting. What would it have been that every morning you woke up, had breakfast, drove the RV, the scenery is beautiful, you stopped and hooked up nobody got sprayed with sh--. You went swimming, you got back in the RV, nothing happened, you drove to the next stop, nothing happened... At least this way, we were all looking forward to the next episode of "The Jackson Three". We had so much fun on our trip. Thank you for allowing us to tag along. Annie
