This morning's problem before we left w/ the POS RV was the circuit breakers tripped. The manager of the CG helped us and was very nice. He suggested we get it checked out just in case. So we called the traveler assistant people and they told us to stop at a place in Meridian, MS, to have it looked at. The good 'ole Mississippi boy that looked at it thought we were crazy to be worried about it. Just said there was a probably a power surge that tripped it and when we tried to reset it it was still hot and not cooled off and that was why it continued to trip. Hope he was right. Guess we'll find out tonight when we plug in.
I started out driving this morning because Murr was being a butt and refused to drive the POS RV. After we stopped in Meridian I reminded him I drove all day yesterday and was tired and wanted to rest. He agreed to drive a couple of hours, which was a good thing for him because he was fixing to get something upside his head if he didn't. We're all getting a little wore out if you can't read between the lines. Well, except Lindsay. She's just been so great on this trip. My sisters keep telling me I didn't deserve such a good child, but I beg to differ.
So we're fixing to pass through Tuscaloosa, AL, on to and through Birmingham, AL, and then end up at the CG in Chattanooga, TN, at around 6:30. We're staying at a Campground that is right by Raccoon Mountain Caverns and I've promised Lindsay we'll get up and go through it before we hit the road again tomorrow at around noon, so she's happy and looking forward to it.
See ya later.

R. and I have rented a cabin near Chattanooga three times so I know you're going to be in some gorgeous country. Too bad you don't have time to do the Chattanooga aquarium. It's a world class facility. Little Squirt would love it.
Not only is the country beautiful, but the people are so nice and willing to help. I couldn't find an address I was looking for, I had found the street, but there was no such address. I had the city map on the hood of my car, trying to find it. Four people stopped to see if they could help! The problem happened to be, there are several streets all with the same name, and the one I was looking for was on the north side of town. I don't know how they knew...I guess you have to live there. A word of warning! When Murr stops driving, and starts popping caps, beware of the gas from him when it starts passing fast. DO NOT LIGHT A CIGARETTE without rolling your window down. In that country, with all of the pines, just remember, they burn like Christmas trees! You might blow your rv up, and start a fire that could destroy the state. Fred
With Murr and his gas and me my cigarettes and the electrical problems this whole area is in a heap of trouble from us hillbilly Texans!
I wish we had more time, too. Murr is already bitching about all the driving and stopping and driving and stopping.
