Well, we finally made it to the campground, everyone is still alive, and the POS RV is still in one piece (keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way).
We're sitting at the Raccoon Mountain RV Campground and Murr has been wondering all day what kind of coons we're going to be seeing. I know it's politically incorrect, but we're from Junction remember, and so far it's been neither kind. We're sitting at the base of the mountains and it's gorgeous. It's got the Raccoon Mountain Caverns next door as I said this morning and we're going to go through them before we hit the road again.
Unfortunately I don't have any funny "Murr gets sprayed w/ sewage stories". Hook up so far was uneventful. It's 7:30 our time and Murr's putting supper on the BBQ pit. Looks like cajun sausage and chicken we picked up a Wal-Mart in Mississippi. Brenda, you'll be happy to know that we've stopped at a Wally World in Texas, Louisiana & Mississippi. Alabama Wal-Marts missed out having us as a customer, and so did the little slice of Georgia we went through, maybe the Tennessee one's will get lucky and get us for a dollar or two.
I need to go wash clothes and work on my check book. I haven't totaled up the gas and groceries yet and I need to do that to see if I'm over or under budget. My debit card has gotten hot it's been swiped so many times.
By the way, I've posted just a couple of pictures on Flickr, but I haven't figured out how to get a link onto this blog. Maybe Rana will give me some more helpful advice. But if you have a Yahoo account you can log into Flickr w/ your id and do a search, I guess? My ID is littlerandle.
Well, my battery is going dead on my laptop, time to give it some juice. Will be back later.

Please write and tell us how Lindsay's finger is--Nanny is worrying. What route are you going tomorrow? If you go thru Knoxville, you have to drive by the Neyland football stadium at THE real UT campus. Neal drives by it every time we're there--whether we have time or not....

Hey! I am glad to see that you have made it as far as you have without you and Murr killing each other. I have to tell you that you have provided the office with much needed amusement. We have your blog up on the "rookie" computer for all to read. The sewer thing was great! I even had a mental image.
I threw my back out.... again, carrying a goat. Yep, same goat and same spot in the back.
