Unfortunately our stay at the beach had to draw to a close. As far as Mom and I are concerned, we could stay there indefinitely -- everyone else seemed to think that more than a week would be a bit much. (I still plan on being a beach bum when I grow up!)
It made Mom very happy that we could all be together at her favorite spot, the beach. I think we came to a unanimous decision that we would mark it on our calendars and come back every year on Columbus Day weekend. (There is probably an appropriate analogy that could be made here, but it escapes me.)
Needless to say as I sat in court today I was hearing in my mind the sounds of the surf instead of the drone of attorneys sparring!

I loved all your pics. I am going to get my techy children to teach me to have them flashing on my computer screen all day so I can keep hearing the roar of the waves and remember all the GREAT times we had at the beach. It was just what I needed. And I am with you and nanny I could stay for months on end. Maybe I'll grow up and be a beach bum with you. Check out Kara's beach bum sign with flip-flops that she bought on our way off the Island next time you visit her apartment. Love you, "B"
