4th of July in Little Town

Wasn't planning on a trip to Junction for the 4th, but with Mom's situation decided we'd better head down there.

Speaking of Mom, she had her appointment w/ the cardiologist and he told her to keep resting and do nothing strenuous. She's going to go in on the 9th and have a cath/blood dye test (??) to see where the blockage is. We're all hoping it will be something they can fix with stints and will probably happen as soon as the cath test is finished. From what my sisters tell me, which went with her to the appointment, that is pretty much the preferred scenario. Otherwise it will be some type of surgery which none of us want to happen.

Since we waited until the last minute to make the decision to go to Junction there was no place to board PJ, so he gets to go with us. Yee-haw. I'm not looking forward to that. I'm much more willing to just pay someone to take care of him, but everyone was booked. We'll get through I'm sure, it's just a hassle I'd rather not deal with. By the way, we've been bombarded with an unusual amount of begger's lice this year. Anyone else having a problem with it?

I'm looking forward to seeing again Junction's version of the 4th of July fireworks display. I think the last time I saw it Lindsay was just an infant. I'll try to get some pics of it for ya'll.

Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
